Kahala Resource Center (KRC):

8:30am & 10:00am

This is in addition to our
Saturday Worship Experience at
5:00pm & 7:00pm

KIDQUEST children’s services available
at all services except 7:00pm

Diamond Head Theater (DHT):

9:00am & 10:30am

Youth Service at 10:30am

Please Note – KIDQUEST will not be offered at DHT

FAQ’s

 

Q:  Why are we having worship experiences at two locations?
A: Pastor Fernando and the pastoral staff at NHDH have a vision to serve families. We feel we can best serve our church through investing in our children and youth by stewarding the resources God has given us. By utilizing both KRC and DHT locations we hope to meet the present and future needs of everyone at NHDH.

Q: Will there be Children’s ministries offered at DHT Campus in January?
A: We have made sizable improvements to our KRC Campus for our new children’s ministries named KIDQUEST. Children’s ministries will be held ONLY at KRC. We are very excited for our NHDH families to experience all KIDQUEST has to offer. If you would like to attend the worship experience at DHT with your children, you are welcome to. Please feel free to take advantage of our outdoor, casual seating area called the Annex as well as seating inside the theater.

Q: What if I have children in both the children’s and youth ministries?
A: First and foremost, we ask that parents with KIDQUEST aged children (0-10 years) remain with them at the KRC Campus. To better assist our parents, we will be offering a shuttle service for Jr. High and High School students from the KRC Campus to the 10:30am Youth Service at the DHT Campus. This shuttle will be available from 10:00am – 10:30am.  This is a one-way shuttle. At the conclusion of the worship experience at KRC, parents will be responsible for picking up their Jr. High/High School students at DHT. If you prefer, you can drop off your Jr. High/High School Students at the DHT Campus as early as 9:45am.Youth ministry volunteers and staff will be prepared to receive youth students in a designated and secured area.

Q: Who will be speaking at the 6 different weekend worship experience offered? Will there still be live worship and teachings at all the worship experiences?
A: All worship experience at both campuses will have live worship. Our goal is to deliver the same excellent, life transforming message at each campus and worship experience. Pastor Fernando will lead a team of rotating speakers. Video may be used occasionally.

Annex Overseers needed!

The Annex is the outdoor tent seating to the right of the theater doors on Sunday.
If the following describes you please pray about volunteering:

  • Loving Jesus is required :-)
  • Enjoy serving, have a heart for people and talking story … a good quality to have!
  • The time commitment on Sunday’s for 1 shift that is 3 hours once or twice per month:
    1st shift is 7:15am to 10:15am
    2nd shift is 10:15am to 12:45pm
  • Attend a once a month 1 hour leadership meeting
  • New Hope Diamond Head church membership is required

All parents of children participating in children’s ministry are encouraged to attend our parent orientation on Sunday, September 11th at 2:00pm at the Kahala Resource Center.  The orientation will cover our general policies, procedures, curriculum; as well as upcoming plans for the ministry.
